We want all our visitors to relax and enjoy their time at our property.  We don't want to have to many rules, but it is important to have some important ones to insure that:

1.  Everyone staying at Durbanville Accommodation is having a great, relaxed time
2.  Every guest is enjoying their accommodation as it is their own, respecting the property / building / furniture / neighbors and more.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

WATER USE:   Because we live in a drought stricken area, Western Cape, we all have to do our best to save water. We have treated borehole water at Durbanville Accommodation.  This water is perfect for washing / cleaning / shower.  We will supply you with 20L of drinking water.
Dayspring Villas does not have borehole water and guests are encouraged to adhere to the water restriction guidelines.   

PARKING:   We have 4 different accommodation options on our property with 4 different parking options.  We are really proud to say that we are staying in a great, safe part of Durbanville and have NEVER had any security issues.

*  Modern Shabby Chic - Parking for 1 x medium size family car behind gate & Parking in-front of gate (street parking)

*  the STUDIO apartment - Street parking available.  Parking is less than 3 meters away from your front gate and less than 5 meters away from your bed.

*  Rustic Retreat Apartment - Parking for 1 x family car behind gate & Parking in-front of gate (street parking)

*  Family Home - Parking for guest staying in our Family Home is in front of the garages (street parking).

Please make sure you park on your designated parking areas.  Thank you.

* Dayspring Villas - Because Dayspring Villas are separate from the other accommodation options, they have more than enough parking space with 1 x garage, 1 x cover porch and 2 x parking bays. 

WIFI:  We have free WIFI available for all guest.

ENTERTAINMENT:   We have flat-screen TVs in all apartments with a MEDIA BOX.  With this MEDIA BOX you will have access to NETFLIX and other internet services in all apartments.

Our Family Home have access to DSTV Now.

LOAD SHEDDING:  If we have load shedding, there will be NO electricity & NO Internet :(   For our international guest - Load shedding is when ESKOM (South African Electricity Providers) cuts off the electricity for a few hours to "save" power.

HOUSE MANUAL:  Our apartments are very easy to live in, when we check you in we will quickly give you all the necessary info.

Obviously our HOUSE and Dayspring Villas is a different story and we will supply you with a HOUSE MANUAL so you would know how to "operate" the house.

CLEANING FEE:  We really go the extra mile to make sure that the apartment is clean before you check in.  We charge a ONCE-OFF CLEANING FEE of R250 (apartments) & R350 (Dayspring Villas & Family Home).

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT:  We unfortunately have had some guests in the past that didn't respect our property and broke / stole our furniture and more.

Paid via EFT before or on check-in.  Will be paid back via EFT within 24hours after check-out.   This will be refunded when you check out and everything is in order.

RULES:

Self-respect and respect for others is the best rules to live by.

Not suitable for pets

No smoking.   Designated smoking areas allowed.

No parties or events

Quiet hours:  Please respect other guests & neighbors.  Guests need be quiet between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM according to municipal by-laws.



NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER BOOKINGS ARE MADE. ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Thus no payments will be refunded if booking is cancelled.
